Refunds

All sales are final. Why? Due to the cost of being a small company, thisheavyearth does not accept refunds except for where product failure has occurred due to manufacturing reasons. This may change in the future as I experience growth but at this time I am sorry but you're stuck with a late night drunken purchase. That buyer's remorse will wear off after a few hours of riffing on that new product.

International Shipping Not Picked Up

For international orders returned to THE because they are not picked up from customs. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Additionally, there will either be a 35% restock fee or they can be shipped again upon new invoice for shipping costs.

 

Limited Lifetime Warranty

All thisheavyearth products are covered for life against defects in materials or workmanship. At our discretion, eligible products will be repaired or replaced, subject to the terms and conditions below.

Warranty Conditions

This warranty applies provided that:

• The product's internal circuitry has not been modified, altered, repaired, or otherwise tampered with by any unauthorized third party.
• The product failure was not caused by gross negligence or accident.
• The product has been used in a manner consistent with its intended purpose and normal operating conditions.
  
  

Warranty Service

For the original owner, the warranty itself is provided at no charge for defects and manufacturing issues. Normal wear and tear damage may result in replacement part cost and bench fee. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to us for evaluation and service. We will repair or replace qualifying products and return them in accordance with our standard shipping procedures. 

You may be asked to provide photos or video to help assess if this is something easily resolved without shipping or based on it's use prior to shipping. This often reduces scenarios where items are shipped for service without need for service. 

How to Start a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please email info@thisheavyearth.com.
Include a brief description of your issue along with any videos or pictures that may give us a better understanding of the problem. From there, our customer service reps will either guide you to a solution if possible, or will offer to take a closer look at it.

Discontinued Products

We are committed to supporting discontinued products for as long as reasonably possible and will make every effort to repair or service them under this warranty.

However, some discontinued products may contain components, parts, or materials that are no longer manufactured or available. In these cases, once our remaining inventory of those components has been used, certain repairs may no longer be possible.

If a repair involves a component that is no longer available and no replacement or repair solution exists, we may be unable to repair or replace the product. In these cases, this will be communicated to you at the time of inquiry.

We reserve the right to determine whether replacement components or alternative repair methods are available for discontinued products.

Second Hand Sales Repair

We offer repair and return shipping on any of our products as long as the internal circuitry hasn't been previously tampered with by anyone outside of our shop. Repair costs are determined by the described issue, preferably with photos/video to support, and communicated prior to having the item shipped for repair. Email info@thisheavyearth.com for more details.
